'Nineteenth century Bristol Architects'
The aim of this research project is focused on exploring the life and works of nineteenth century Bristol-based architects. Initially the project will focus on updating and expanding upon the biographical profiles of architects found within Gomme, Jenner and Little's 'Bristol: An Architectural History' (Appendix IV) but will also include profiles on the architect's relevant family members, apprentices and collaborative builders.
It is hoped that this site will be of interest to professional and amateur historians in the pursuit of better understanding the historic buildings of Bristol and the south-west.
