George Allen Underwood

George Allen Underwood was a pupil of Sir John Soane from c.1807-1815 and then established his own practice at 28 Hart Street, Bloomsbury. Relocating to Cheltenham by mid-1819, George is first listed as an architect residing at the Gretton, Cheltenham in 1820. By 1822 his is listed alongside his brothers Henry (builder) and Charles (Building Surveyor).
